No More Tequila, Pale Red Dun Stallion (1997 - 2021)
No More Tequila was featured at the Stallion Extravaganza in Tri-Cities. Shown after only 11 days of riding - yes, 11 days total riding by David Hammitt, Ranch Trainer. He and Tequila made flying lead changes, down stops, roll backs and pivot circles with only a lariat around his neck!
This son of Zips Par Bar was a great one and an important part of our program for many years. We proudly continue his legacy in the horses we breed today. |
Zips Par Bar, Deep Mahogany Bay Stallion (1992 - 2019)
Boots, as we called him, stood 15.2 hands and weighed 1300. He had a super sweet disposition and loved attention. For his size and powerful build, he was extremely athletic, agile and a most well balanced individual. The COW came natural to him, as it did his Sire and Dam. His grand dam loved to work so much that when the rest of the crew broke for lunch she'd get lost in a bunch of cattle and separate cows all by herself.
Boots put his big hip and beautiful conformation on all his offspring and needless to say they were and still are generally the first to sell. Boots was considered "FOUNDATION" style and carries 86% Foundation Blood.

Billy Harland Gray/Roan AQHA Stallion (1995 - 2019)
Billy had a quiet, gentle disposition. His bloodlines were clean (no inbreeding) and diversified. He had a nice short back, good sloping shoulders with excellent bone. He had a short wide Quarter Horse head with a slight dish, a small muzzle, kind eye, short ears and a large (inherited) jaw. His throatlatch was small and tight. His speed, agility and athletic ability were reflected in his pedigree.
At 5 years old Billy measured 15.1 hands and weighed about 1250 lbs. Billy's foals carry his distinct stamp; from his beautiful head to his powerful muscling and bone.
